In a recent article by Hemp Industry Daily, they discuss how companies like FRB have developed strategic partnerships with greenhouse operations across the country and how purchasing higher priced, higher quality hemp plants and seeds will optimize farmers' results for the season. Read an excerpt from the article below:
"Following a few frustrating years for hemp farmers working with unreliable seeds, the industry is at a point where hemp farmers need to consider investing in higher quality young plants according to [FRB's CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Jonathan] Vaught.
"'We're not always the cheapest, but we're there when something goes wrong,' Dr. Vaught said.
"Because of the lack of stability in many seed varieties currently, Schneider said vegetatively propagated young plants, while higher priced, offer growers enhanced consistency.
"'That gives growers peace of mind that their plants will start out healthy and primed for optimal growth, are all consistent and uniform, will perform as expected within known parameters and will flower on a predictable schedule to allow for appropriate planning and organization to maximize the harvest and put up a high quality product.'"
